​Matt Comer

Matt Comer has pastored at Still Waters since its beginning in 2009. He, his wife Shelbea, and two children Eli and Emorie have lived in Carthage since 2005. Matt has a passion for sharing the Gospel with the cowboy culture.  His unique style of honest "straight talk" preaching has allowed many to understand what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

​John Henry

John Henry Zabcik has been the student minister at Still Waters since 2010. He is married to Emily and they have four children: Jaclyn, Zachariah, Piper and Novie.
​ John Henry has a heart to share the word of God to 7th to 12th grade students and College students each week through small groups, events and connecting and building relationships with the students of Panola County.

Kyle Keeling

Kyle Keeling is our Growth and Outreach Pastor and has been with SWCC for 2 years. Kyle assists in the growth in SWCC and also coordinates our Life Groups. He has a wife, Erin, and two kids Kennedy and Kolt.

​Marty Summers

​Marty Summers is one of our Elders at Still Waters. He and Melissa have two children Lexie and Colten.

​Ricky Hogan

Ricky Hogan is an Elder at Still Waters. He is married to Debra. They have a combined family of 4 children and 10 grandchildren.

Wayne Cordray

Wayne Cordray is an Elder at Still Waters. He is married to Beverly. They have 4 children , 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Wayne and Beverly joined Still Waters in November of 2009. They are also the Ministry Leaders of SWCC Mending Fences.

Darrell Pinkston

Darrell Pinkston is a Lay Pastor at Still Waters. Darrell helps oversee the Chuckwagon team and the Facility team. He is married to Sandi.

Will Blackwell

Will Blackwell is a Lay Pastor at Still Waters. He is married to Amy. ​Together they have 4 children: Hannah, Tathan, Molly and Emma.

​Jeff Collins

Jeff Collins is a Lay Pastor at Still Waters. He is married to Cheryl. They have one daughter, Payton and one grandson, Rosin. They came to us from Fort Scott, Kansas. Jeff is also the coach for the Panola College Rodeo Team.

Yogi Tarjick

Yogi Tarjick is a Lay Pastor at Still Waters. He is married to Sherri. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. He is excited to be a part of Still Waters.

Smitty Smith

Smitty is a Lay Pastor at Still Waters. He has been a part of Still Waters since 2014. He is married to April Mae Smith and they have 4 children: Taylor, Alexis. Ruby Jo and Preston,

Smitty has  a love and passion for serving God. His spiritual gifts include evangelism, knowledge and teaching. He has a heart to share the gospel and be a disciple maker.
